Training Practice

We are proud to be a long-established training practice. We host fully qualified doctors who have worked in hospitals and are completing rotations in general practice. We also host medical students, nursing students, nurse practitioner students and physician’s associate students.

You may be offered an appointment with one of these doctors who work independently with daily supervision from one of the experienced GP trainers. On occasion, the doctor may ask if they can record the consultation. The recording will only be used for training purposes to allow the doctor to develop their consultation style, and will be stored securely and promptly deleted once viewed.

Recruitment of doctors is becoming increasingly difficult, so being a training practice is immensely important to the provision of healthcare in our area. We are proud that seven of our doctors trained at Morlais and have chosen to stay working with us. It is thanks to you, our patients, that we can continue this important work.
